Pathways is a great read. Take it with you to the beach or read when you have a moment to reflect. There are poems for every age and every mood.I have always enjoyed poetry, but sometimes struggle to understand the full meaning behind those full of wordy distractions. These poems are beautiful yet easy for anyone, young or old, to take away a message. They will make you laugh, cry and think about life's little things in a different light. We have read some over the phone to brighten a friend's day, and have found funny poems for the kids as well. A couple personal favorites are "God Takes a Bow" and "A Few Little Wishes".

As an ADD reader, I found opening this book to any page and reading a poem or two in the morning gave myself something to wonder about all day.
I haven't read much poetry, But this book recommended to me by a friend. I loved it. I found myself reading many of the poems to my husband aloud. Some were funny, some very moving. I found all to be very enjoyable. I will read over and over. Author is great poet.
I am not a fan of poetry, but my husband suggested I read Pathways. Wow, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Vickie Touw is obviously a talented writer. The poems were fresh, entertaining, and most enjoyable to read. I have recommended the book to my friends. My husband loves Poetry and keeps Pathways on his desk and reads a poem just about everyday!
Pathways Selected Poems is an interesting look at all facets of life - there is a poem for every occasion in everyone's life. The poems are easy to read and give an accurate and interesting reflection on life. Dependent on your mood there are several favorites, I carry the book with me and read a poem in odd moments of downtime.
